LogiNext @ Silicon Valley

NASSCOM Innotrek 2015 & TiEcon Santa Clara
Did you know that India is the fourth largest base in the world for startups, with about 800 startups being set up annually? NASSCOM sensed it and thus has brought yet another revolution in the Indian startup ecosystem through the INNOTREK. “39” startups from India made it to the Silicon Valley and LogiNext being amongst “The Chosen Ones” travelling to the Mecca of start-ups this year!
Dhruvil Sanghvi, co-founder of LogiNext, interacted with the tech stalwarts such as Ravi Gururaj (Chairman, NASSCOM Product Council), Punit Soni (Chief Product Officer, Flipkart), Deap Ubhi (Founder, Burrp! And ex-COO Freecharge), Rajan Anandan (MD, Google India), Asheem Chanda (Partner, Greylock Partners), Karl Mehta (Menlo Vantures, Edcast and Code of India) and many others. The hot topic of discussion was “Growth of On Demand and Enterprise Technology Markets”, which are growing at an unprecedented pace and people across the globe have their eyes on it.
Rise of On-demand Economy in All The Countries Together
It’s rare that we find trends starting together in developed and developing countries. “On-demand” economy is one of them. LogiNext published an interesting blog last week focusing on these new “Hyper-local” kinds of companies across US and India. As one can correctly identify, these are not new ideas but the same old ones with new methods of execution. Execution being the most challenging part and real-time analytics and big data are the major technologies that are coming to rescue!
Fast Growing Enterprise Market in India
Enterprise market has always been considered small in emerging markets and most of the B2B unicorns ultimately go to US. However, it is difficult to believe the same after an informative conversation with co-founder and CTO of Capillary Technologies, Krishna Mehra. Krishna, a NASSCOM Innotrek delegate last year and a speaker this year, has strong experience in B2B sales in India and in the US. Capillary has followed a dream path to success across the globe, which is a dream for most B2B companies starting out of India.
Currently, only the location analytics market across various sectors is considered to be a $50Bn+ market and including Internet of Things (IoT) and other Big Data trends, the size of Indian market has skyrocketed. Although Indian enterprises take longer to understand and invest in such technologies, some giants like Reliance, Flipkart and Mahindra are leading the way to change.
Apart from meeting the global business leaders and the investor fraternity, team Innotrek organized very exciting visit to TiEcon. After an action packed week, Dhruvil Sanghvi was invited and represented LogiNext at TiEcon, world’s largest entrepreneurial conference where global wealth connects with the technology stealth. Dhruvil was exhilarated to meet Dr. Vishal Sikka (CEO & MD, Infosys), Phil Libin (Founder & CEO, Evernote), Suja Chandrasekaran (Global CTO, Walmart) and discuss futuristic ideas.
On the whole, LogiNext stood tall and attained good visibility in the Valley, which aims to be the “Google of Shipments for Enterprises”. This event may mark as commencement of LogiNext’s plan to go global.
